What is Underwater Hockey?

Discover the Sport Beneath the Surface

Underwater hockey is a fast-paced, three-dimensional sport played at the bottom of a swimming pool. Two teams of six players use short sticks to push a puck across the pool floor and into the opposing goal—all while holding their breath. It’s a unique mix of strategy, speed, teamwork, and finesse, blending the best parts of swimming, hockey, and diving into one exhilarating underwater challenge.

Plan Your Visit

Anyone can play. If you love the water, enjoy a challenge, or are simply curious about trying something new, give underwater hockey a shot. Grab a mask, snorkel, and fins, and see if there’s a club near you—you might just find your new favorite sport.
